As per Rule 11(4) of Trade Organizations Rules-2007, the Annual Membership Fee for the year 2011-12 has fallen due for payment within due date of payment upto 31st March 2011. You are requested to please renew the membership with APTMA by making payment of the Membership Fee as per the following rates:

· The maximum Annual Subscription (including all other contributions) payable by any member shall be Rs.200,000/-.

· The Admission Fee for new membership shall be Rs.25,000/-.





Please note that as per the Rules, no relaxation / extension for payment of membership fee would be allowed for renewal of membership. Members wishing to retain the membership rights, including voting rights, must not ignore the last date for payment of Membership Fee i.e. 31st March 2011. Any delay in payment of the membership fee would render expiry of the membership with APTMA.



You are also requested to provide a copy of TCO (Tex 1-5) Return submitted to the Textile Commissioner’s Organization for the month of February 2011 along with copies of Income Tax and Sales Tax Returns, if applicable, for the preceding year to APTMA.



The Membership Certificate of APTMA will be issued on receipt of the payment of the Membership Fee and requisite documents within due date.

INTERIM RELIEF AGAINST ANY ORDER IMPOSING ANTI-DUMPING DUTY ON PSF IMPORTS FROM CHINA



Dear Sir,



APTMA and some Member Mills filed a writ petition in the Rawalpindi Bench of the Lahore High Court in which interim relief against any order imposing Anti-Dumping Duty on PSF imports from China has been secured.



On account of opposition and strong arm tactics against petitioners in the case, it has been decided to launch a broad based contest for securing the interests of PSF using Member Mills as well as prospective PSF user Members. For this purpose the Synthetics Committee requests all concerned Member Mills to contribute Rs.25,000- by cheque to APTMA, Lahore preferably by Friday, 1st April 2011.

It is informed to all businessmen community that recently an officer of the rank of Deputy Superintendent of Police has been posed as liaison officer to the FPCCI. He has since joined his duty in Federation House. It was a long over due requirement of the FPCCI to establish an emergency police cell headed by a DSP to entertain complaints of the business community with regard to the crime in their areas of activities so that prompt action could be taken to redress the complaints of business community.
