Note on FSA Surcharge: This is with reference to the amount of Fuel surcharge adjustment appearing in your electricity bill for the month June 2011. Please note that Fuel surcharge adjustment to be charged to electricity consumers is determined and notified by National Electric Power Regulatory Authority (NEPRA). The FSA for the period from July 2009 to March 2010 was charged in the bills issued from June 2010 to December 2010 vide NEPRA S.R.O. 387 dated June 04, 2010. Thereafter, NEPRA, vide TCD09/2715 dated April 04, 2011, has clarified that the FSA is to be charged on the consumption of the respective months (July 2009 to March 2010). Accordingly the amount overcharged/undercharged (net impact of the adjustment) has been shown in the current month’s bill. The adjusted amount is positive where the consumption in Jul09-Mar-10 was higher than the consumption during Jun10-Dec 10 and negative in case of lower consumption in 2009-10 which means refund to those consumers who were charged in excess. The sales tax and related charges have also been adjusted accordingly. If you DO NOT wish to receive an e-bill on your email address, please reply back with the text 'UNSUBSCRIBE' in the subject line.
